Granat LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates applications and related services for merchants using the Shopify platform, including POS Auto Repricer and any successor or related apps (collectively, the “App”).

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information obtained through the App. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

We are an independent software provider and are not affiliated with or owned by Shopify Inc. or its subsidiaries.

3. Information We Collect

When you install or use our App, we may access certain store-level data from Shopify. This may include, but is not limited to:

Basic store information (name, domain, contact email, settings)
Product, inventory, and pricing data
Order or transaction metadata
Operational data required for the App’s functionality

We do not intentionally collect personal information of end-customers (such as names or payment details). However, store data received from Shopify may incidentally include such information in limited contexts.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information accessed or collected to:

Operate, maintain, and provide the App’s features
Enable requested store operations or configurations
Improve and develop new features or functionality
Communicate with merchants regarding the App, updates, or technical issues
Analyze usage trends or aggregated performance data
Comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms

We may de-identify or aggregate information for analytics, diagnostics, and product-improvement purposes.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share data with trusted service providers, subcontractors, and partners who assist in operating, hosting, or improving the App—such as cloud infrastructure, analytics, and technical support providers.

All such third parties are bound by appropriate confidentiality or data-processing obligations and may only process data on our behalf.

We may also disclose information as required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or business transfer.

6. Data Storage and Transfers

Data handled by the App may be stored or processed on systems operated by a variety of providers, which may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions.

By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of data in jurisdictions that may have different data protection standards than your own.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain store data for a limited period after uninstallation for backup, troubleshooting, and compliance purposes.

Data is deleted within a reasonable time following uninstallation or upon written request from the merchant.

8. Security

We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Accordingly, Granat LLC cannot guarantee absolute security and is not responsible for unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of information beyond our reasonable control, including security incidents affecting third-party systems or Shopify itself.

9. Legal Basis and Regional Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have certain rights regarding your data.

We process data primarily under the legal bases of contractual necessity (to provide the App) and legitimate interests(to improve functionality).

Merchants or authorized users may request access, correction, or deletion of their information by contacting us at support@granat.io.

We do not sell personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

10. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age under local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Granat LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to use of the App or this Privacy Policy.
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees (if any) paid to us for use of the App during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Granat LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the App or violation of this Policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted at https://www.granat.io/privacy and will take effect immediately upon posting.

Your continued use of the App following such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
